 Planned Water Shut Down for Wednesday November 19, 2008

MIDNIGHT to 4 am November 20, 2008

 PRECAUTIONARY ACTION ONLY:     

 The Amador Water Agency suggests that you boil your water or use bottled water for drinking and cooking purposes for the next 24 hours following the planned shutdown. We have NO EVIDENCE of water contamination.  Whenever there is a planned shut down, California Department of Public Health in conjunction with Amador County Environmental Health Department and the Amador Water Agency advises the use of boiled water or bottled water. The Agency will be taking Bacteriological samples.  If you do not hear anything further from us after the 24hour period, it is presumed that the water is safe.
